Experience the world of Ancient Rome with new eyes

Kenneth Kunkel is an author of historical fiction, covering little known events, new discoveries, and interesting theories about the Roman Empire. This all began at the age of nine when he spent a Saturday morning watching “Ben-Hur.” From then on, he immersed himself in those epic roadshow films.

Devouring movies and books, drawing, and writing stories became his pastimes in school. When it came to a career, he entered and survived a life in Information Technology, from developer to director. These positions usually involved educating people, something he particularly enjoyed.

Someone mentioned to Ken that they thought ancient history was set in stone. Absoluely not! New details emerge every day that challenge our previous conceptions. Time to spread the knowledge. And what better way than through stories.

Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, Ken now lives with his wife in Central Florida, where he writes stories based on the historical nuggets he’s discovered over the years.
